THE PROJECT
Jericho Community Center is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
Jericho Community Center provides lifelong principles through teaching, outreach and contributions to everyday people to handle daily matters.
The specific objectives and purpose of this organization shall be:

to provide instruction in the financial and mental capacity of every person;

to provide resources, encouragement, and monetary contributions to those in need

to provide opportunities for participants to engage in the application of lifelong principles and their benefits;

to sponsor, host and/or participate in events and activities that promote personal development and growth for a person’s well – being.

According to The Dallas News, the total homeless population in Dallas County increased from 2,972 in 2013 to 3,314 this year, according to the Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance's annual report released exclusively to The Dallas Morning News. But the number of chronically homeless dropped this year to 413 from 568, a 37 percent decline.
“If we don’t help those people re-enter income and housing quickly, they’re going to become that long-term group,” he said. “Our strategies are working, but our resources are a little bit behind.”
Affordable housing is crucial for the chronically homeless, defined as anyone with a disabling condition who has been homeless for more than a year. It’s a group that is likely to have been homeless more than once.
